2023 – New Year, Same Me

I can’t promise that all of these blog titles will rhyme but I’m thrilled that the first one does.

For the last 18 (ish) years I’ve started new years the same way, I will lose weight this year. I have never achieved this goal. Any weight lost from the gym sessions, exercise routines, meal replacements, fasting or calorie counting is all put back on again when I lose momentum. Failure means a low mood and then comfort eating to make myself feel better and the cycle goes on and on. So this year the goal is different. Spend more time outside as a family. Specifically achieving fifty walks over the coming year.
